Hop on over to the SteamGifts forum - https://www.steamgifts.com/discussions/puzzles-events
Buy some bundle games, then make some giveaways, and hide entry to the giveaways behind some kind of Japanese language based puzzle, use the puzzle thread and giveaway description to promote your group and if people find it fun and interesting they'll join.
You'll also probably end up with a higher calibre of member than just inviting random people
1) On the Points Shops I've bought the Info Box profile showcase, and in it I've added the Group description in the front of my profile, so everyone who checks my profile will see it.
2) I've wrote a very extensive guide on how to go about "Study Japanese for playing games in that language, starting from zero", and posted it on my Group - the hope is that people will find it useful, share it with fellow learners and find the Group that way.
That's an interesting idea ...unfortunately I'm tight on budget... ^_^'
And I'm only doing it to help fellow learners that share my goal, I'm literally getting nothing in return, I'm not sponsored nor have any affiliations - so paying money (I barely have) for the chance to help them would feel a bit... xD
An interesting idea regardless, I'll keep this on the back of my mind, you never know... :)
Let me say whoever here on the HUB mentioned one could add 30 persons to the Friendlist per week, that information is now outdated and wrong.
It's much less than that, I haven't counted precisely, but I don't think I was even allowed to add more than 40 users in this 11 days...
Does anyone have more recent information of how this works now?
The friend invite limit is "up to" 30 per week, depending on the rate you send invites.
