It is the only sexually oriented game I have in my whole list. It was recommended to me because I'm a D&D GM and I liked both the story and the implementation of the player choices quite a lot. There is also quite the amount of "encounters" which use a very similar system to D&D 5.0 which I also enjoyed quite a lot.
I am suggesting this to you because you are asking for visual novels and I've literally gone thru the title in the same way than if I was reading an actual paperback novel (which I still also regularly consume in the real world). There is sexual content in this game but there is also a very obvious path that you can take and avoid the vast majority, if not the totality of it. All the graphic depictions are also only images and quite light in regard to such material. In short, I considered it more like a mature story that I've consumed like a novel than an actual porn game.
It fits all your wants but I think there is a few don't wants which could be mixed in as well. Take it as you will.
