Try a manual support ticket, explain nicely what happen, but understand that only you are to have access to your steam account, You are responsible for anything that happens with said account. Whatever decision that support gives you will be the final one.

Protect access to your account and payment. The account is only for your use.

Make a manual ticket.

Find the purchase itself... https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithPurchase

Choose "I still have a question..."

Explain the entire issue carefully.

And hope for the best.

I hope your account name and profile name are not the same.

This is completely incorrect, there is no “first decision is final decision” policy with steam support, I have had refunds, unbans etc all span across multiple months and tickets in the past with it taking even up to a year to resolve some issues.

No on Manual ticket request, the answer given is final.

Again, Australia has very different laws than the rest of the world when it comes to Steam refunds.

I told you this in the other thread.

Bans have absolutely nothing to do with getting or not getting refunds.

Do you mean this?

In Australia, the standard Steam refund policy is 14 days with less than 2 hours of playtime. However, Australian Consumer Law (ACL) provides consumers with additional rights, meaning you may be entitled to a refund if a game has a "major fault" or doesn't meet acceptable quality standards, regardless of the 14-day/2-hour limit. For a refund, submit a request through Steam Support, and if denied, you can contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for assistance.

If yes, notice the first line. It is the same for everyone.

P.S. To topic starter, if you allowed your brother access to your account, you should have made sure that he could not access your funds. Steam support really will not help since you allowed this on your account.

Isn't a "backward reimbursement" just a regular transaction?

So what is the law that Steam has to follow?

You can read everything here...

I edited my reply while you were replying.
Your brother shouldn't be using your account, let alone using your card and making purchases with it.

does your brother post on the forum?
OP, keep in mind that your situation is not something a company has to take into account.

You cab try a manual ticket, vut that doesn't mean you'll get a refund as you don't qualify for one.

No, you can continue and basically escalate it, but it doesn't always succeed.
they should make you take a time out and during that time think it threw untill they decide to refund or not.
