Undeletable Profile Comment :: Steam Community

Undeletable Profile Comment

There is a comment someone left on my profile, that I cannot seem to delete. It's clearly a spam comment, as I have never played with this account before.

The comment reads as follows:
This comment is awaiting analysis by our automated content check system. It will be temporarily hidden until we verify that it does not contain harmful content (e.g. links to websites that attempt to steal information).

When I try to delete the comment, I get red text stating:
Sorry, some kind of error has occurred: There was a problem deleting this comment. Please try again.

It has been like this for almost a month, why can't I delete this comment?

You can't delete it because it's stuck in Steam automated content check. If you don't want spam comments, then either set the comment section to friends only or disable it.

I clicked the report flag for you.

Any comment stuck in analysis is a pain since you can't do anything about it.

If it happens again, have a friend click the report flag for you. That usually gets a moderator to look at it instead of it being lost in the queue.

yo' dude! Can you do it for me too at the last comment on my profile plz? It is stuck in a loophole for more than 6 hours and it's annoying. I want to delete it but I can't.
