You can play as a Killer too, in DBD (it isn't just about running away lol)
When I used to play, I'd run and play around with the Killer as a Survivor. As a Killer, I killed everyone that I could (I sucked but still managed to get some hooky kills)
It's fun using that flash bomb perk(and other ones) that annoy the Killers lol.
Do you like playing Solo (doing whatever you want etc) or with/against people? which one sticks to your brain the most? do you have a quick image flash of "7DTD" or "DBD"?
Did you watch gameplays? which one did you enjoy watching the most? which game has you more interested in it?
Also, the Steam Scream 4 sale is coming up (Oct 27th) save up some monies and you'll probably be able to get both, discounted during that sale. If you can't wait, again, which game comes to your mind the most? that would be the one you want more.
Yeah but you can play 7 Days to Die Solo and without anyone else in your game world. Unlike DBD where there is no actual solo mode besides playing as a Killer against others.
7 Days to Die has been out for a good long time
"7 Days to Die was released through early access on December 13, 2013. The game was officially released to the public on July 25, 2024"
So, no surprise it has a bigger fan/player base.
As for Dead by Daylight
"Dead by Daylight (dbd) was officially released on June 14, 2016, for PC." and the only thing that game offers are Licensed Killers/Survivors.
It was fun back then but now... it's just about, "what License will they have next!" and what items will be in the store now! It's the "Horror" version of Fortnite.
Edit: I didn't even realize you were the OP lol I'm sorry about that. If you are looking for a big playerbased game, then I guess 7 Days to Die is your pick.
Stay away from DBD. 7 Days all the way.
If you're into PvP more and the whole lopsided several players versus 1 then Dead by Daylight would be more up your street,
7 Days to Die is more like a mature Minecraft with more depth. You can of course do some PvP, but it's main pull lies in the construction and survival.
In that regard and generally speaking it has FAR more legs than Dead by Daylight.
