Id be curious as to your results.
65, arthritis took my fine motor skills and reaction speed long ago.
Believe me I can say B faster then I can find it and hit it.
50 years using a key board, if I can't see it...
I'd say giving up on playing multiplayer games would be an easier solution.
I know I did give up, since my reaction time hit rock bottom even before 30s... That is unless I forget why I stopped playing multiplayer titles, try one again and get unpleasant reminder why I stopped. It's sort of vicious cycle.
Yeah... I'm just too frickin' slow for all of this.
And I didn't have the head for memorizing keyboards. Forget memorizing maps.
Oh, okay. It's one of these games where winning matters a lot more. Still very likely to be more capable of actually winning something than me with my complete lack of whatever skills are needed to win.
I just have this defeatist mindset, I don't see point in delaying victory of others if they care more about said victory than me. On the other hand I'd rather not drag down whatever team I'm assigned to, hence avoiding PvP altogether.
i know people who use it,they have severe dyslexia so it really helps them get around that barrier, one was a art therapist of mine.
there is also eye tracking software, woud this be of help? i used one on linux many years ago, it was when open source and free eye tracking software and i was helping test it ,ive tested comunication software and devices for companies before plus i used to test dynavoxes equipment and type back reports but the worst one back then (before 2011) was eye tracking.however eye tracking is so much better at capturing eye movement now without needing the seriously hefty power of a PC that they used to need. you still need a fairly good PC to run and track within the software. im certin if you do some research on it, youll be able to see if it can be integrated into gaming.
What you're asking for is a bit more intense and the lag you're going to get to do the processing would render it all but unusable.
The best speech recognition I've found is on the PS4. Using the basic in ear mic, you can jump to any game by naming it. It recognises speech really well (better than the Xbox One) but even then it takes a couple of seconds at worst.
The response times are just too much. It might be usable and acceptable in something like strategy games but not for shooters.
I'm not really too up on this though but being part of many disabled groups I'd have heard if there were any real great improvement.
So sorry, but what you're asking isn't up to scratch.
