The minimum requirements on the store pages are really just that, if you are even below it, then simply don't buy the game.
There is a site that compares the games system requirements with your hardware, only those informations are being used.

Select a game, click on Can You Run It? and the downloaded app once started does the rest.
You either meet the requirements or you don't and if you don't, then you should skip the game in question.
Or buy it if you are about to upgrade your hardware anyway.
