Autumn deep discounts are terrible
Compared to previous steam sales, the autumn deep discounts are absolutely terrible.

And best of all , 5 of the games featured in the deep discounts have DENUVO DRM.

- FarCry primal? has denuvo drm and requires ubiconnect (always online drm)

- South park the fractured but whole? has denuvo drm and requires ubiconnect (always online drm)

- Two point campus? has denuvo drm.

- Sniper Elite 5? has denuvo drm

The other games are super mehh and some require 3rd party accounts like Doom Eternal.

Probably the best deal is desperados III, Haven, Control ultimate edition and Code vein if you into anime stuff, old world sadly has a gazillion DLC so that makes me think game was sold in parts and base game is limited, anyways id call this autumn deep discounts the "DENUVO games sale".

That's patently false. The previous two sales were just as bad if not worse than this one.

Well that's funny because in my own list I only have four games, one of which I already own..? They are probably not listing all the games I've set to ignore then.

Remember that games which go into deep discounts are usually games which don't perform as well? Why are you mad to see games you dislike going deep in sales?

Great news, I'll buy them all so the publishers know PC gamers love their games being protected by the mighty Denuvo.

So... Sale is bad because games with Denuvo or third party logins are on sale?
You may be overestimating how much people care about those subjects.

And I thought only SEGA and BandaiNamco have a bad habit of putting that one in games.

SMT? Denuvo.
SRW Y? Denuvo.
Persona? Digimon Story:TS? etc. etc.

Ugh...

I hesitated circa two years with purchase of Shin Megami Tensei III, then I had second thoughts about that purchase and waited another circa two years in hopes they might remove Denuvo.
Doesn't seem to be happening, so it just kinda rots in library.

I trust neither that thing nor my PC's endurance to risk that kind of gamble.
My PC already runs rather poorly after that forced Win11 24h2 update.
