Jester award

I can't be the only one here annoyed by the Jester award. It is effectively only used to tell people they are quite literally a clown. So it works to spread anonymous form of hate, while Steam Point farmers take advantage of it to make trolling posts. Yes, this is so easy to farm a zillion of points this way. Maybe it should be changed to give 0 points to the person it is awarded to or somehing, I don't really know — but it is unfamothably, laughably ridiculous in its current state of usages.

Complaining about stuff but doing the same thing you complain about is something some people would call a nice try.

But I dind't say the award was to be removed right? I say that it is way too easily obtained. It doesn't make a difference if every one else does. And by the way, I use it just as much for funny, light-hearted mischief stuff as actual ragebait.

Just because I happened to once and only time in the world in a while decided to Jester a piece of metabait doesnt mean I do it daily. If i could change it to award zero points to the receiver I would

But you complain about it, while those Jesters you gave have probably the same effect on them. The results are the same, whetever that reason may be.

What else are steampoints good for other than awards? The point shop bores me. I bought pretty much loosely what I found interesting. So I use awards. I award content deserving awards. That meta bait post I gave the jester because it was genius.

Not my problem really, there are plenty of posts like yours around complaining about the Jester awards. And those posts can go endlessly, derailing, yada yada, something I get really bored about.

Why do you think I awarded the said post? Because I wouldn't have awarded it if it was just unoriginal bait. I'd get 200 pts if this was a Jester bait, and then give three times more on that post. Nonsense for me. If I was farming Steam Points, I wouldn't be giving them out. Lol.
Look I can't have been the first complaining about this. So suddenly one is clown-worthy if complaining? See if it was removed tomorrow, I wouldn't even get mad.

Well the post wasnt exclusively directed to you. In the end this need s to reach valve steam or something. It's not like a few anti's here will change the millions of Steam users doing this frivolous awarding without second thought

I advise you to reread my messages. Look just at every guide on my sccount, it is low effort jank that gives me awards. If I wanted awards so much, I wouldn't spend my precious time on this post.
