after a bit of searching it appears a lot of users are facing the same issue but can still add games to the wishlist

Really hoping it's fixed soon as I've been getting some emails about REALLY good sales one some of my games, and I have some extra money from an inheritance. Was hoping to assess my wishlist and maybe pick out several, but kind of hard when it doesn't work.

FIX:
go to Language Preferences on your account (https://store.steampowered.com/account/languagepreferences). Change your language to another one, save, and then go back to your original language. That's it.

That worked. I wonder if Valve is even aware of this. My wishlist has been inaccessible since yesterday. Note that I could not deselect English in language preferences, but I could select another language in addition to English. Anyway it worked. Thank you.

I'll link your post over here as well: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/discussions/forum/1/597412823492293518/

Sorry, I didn't know.
This issue has been a thing for me since yesterday. Going on 16 hours not being able to access my wishlist. It is what is. We want convenience, are too comfortable with digital downloading, and we even killed the CD market due this obsession of digital downloads. You either deal with it, or quit playing Steam games altogether.

Top right for me. where is says my name. Click and go to account details. From account details on left is language preference. I switched to Spanish Latin American. Scroll down and hit Save. Scroll back up and hit English (Ingles). Hit save. Hopefully that fixes it. It did for me.I figured I would post this because another guy said there's multiple spots you can change you language. Making sure everyone is hitting the right one. (I used the client and not the website). Windows 11
Its amazing to me that Steam have not fixed this issue already. People are not buying items off their wishlist, and developers are not being able to capitalise on sales. This is a HUGE issue and it seems like Valve don't know how to identify or address huge issues? Crazy.
