Does using a downloaded savefile from the internet a bannable offense?
i recently finished dark souls remastered and really wanted to try a different build, but the amount of grinding one has to do to get and upgrade all weapons for each build is just not worth it. i'm considering downloading a completed savefile from the internet and my question is will it end in a ban or something? do know that i only plan on playing solo and not online.

It would be up to each developer and their rules so if you have concerns post on the games forum.

If you don't love the grind then you stop playing Dark Souls.

There is no Dark Souls endgame, it is all about the grind it took to get there.

well thanks dude, much appreciated
Plain & simple no its not. Using a download save for any game that will allow it does not violate any form of TOS. Having your account banned or suspended would only result in cheating & or using hacks or trainers to better benefit your progress in game. I.e. Aimbot.

That is not entirely correct. Some games allow this, like the game OP mentioned.

It might mess up your achievements though. Not everyone cares about that though.

Part of the fun of a dark souls build is building it from the ground up.
You don't just start archer or magic at lv100 (unless you use one of the respec methods in 2 and 3)
you do your bow n arrow or magic from lv10 and improve it as you find equipment and spells
at least that's how I like to do new characters

Ask you self this..R U CHEATING ..yes because you have Skiped parts of the game knowing the SAVE FILE FOR THAT GAME ( is NOT yours...it some one else)
I'mma say no. Since save files generally only affect single player and don't confer anything that you'd have to buy in app.
Why bump a 4-year-old thread
