How to list my library of games
How do I "export" if you will my library so I can sort what is in what category, what is not shared in family games and so on more analytically. Instead of using the steam client which is a UI or Launch-wrapper only, and does not understand logic and mathematics concepts like union of sets and groups of categories like a library might do?
Basically want to sort out 2 things, I have a PG category, and want to see what games are not in the PG category , and I thus want to share in my family games. The other task if how to export games in a way I can import to rebuild the categories myself somehow. Is this something living in a local disk-file? I'm pretty sure it's a local file, any clues?

:-) the subtle driving issue is that you can run into carpul tunnel syndrome right clicking and scrolling through 400 games and 10 custom categories and all, just to find or eliminate 2 games that are categorised not quite how you wanted... or you can open the configuration file which is in your steam folder.
@SPIRIT STALKER give it a try, you can create your own categories easily, but advice, don't make too many categories.

I'm going to give it a whirl and add some sauce but am hunting for a simple way to detect my steam ID. I know what mine is, and most folk don't care or they play a Valve game which displays your id. Anyway you need the id to find your profile data and then it gets easier it seems to export and manage your own categorizations. Watch this space.
I'm glad i started categorizing early on when i hit my 30 game mark

From the recent "Developer preview" conference I watched recently, it sounds, like, steam has listened, and publishers and curators will be able to share tags on games so we can do this more quickly and find games more quickly.
Dont know :P

Have used the above and it works quite well for all sorts of categories. No idea if it picks up the game rating or not.
