Key things to know for new users
Limited account features: You must spend at least $5.00 on the Steam store to unlock full community features, such as posting frequently in discussions, adding friends, and trading items.
Game-specific forums: For questions about a specific game, navigate to that game's Community Hub from its store page and post in its dedicated discussion forum. This is often the best place to find help from other players.
The Community tab: Besides the discussion forums, the Community tab is where you'll find other user-generated content like guides, artwork, screenshots, and workshop items.
