A Reminder for New Steam Users: Stay Safe from Scams!
Hey everyone,

If you’re new to Steam, welcome to the community! But please be aware: scammers are everywhere, and they often target new players. Here are some tips to keep yourself safe:

Never share your password – not even with a “Steam admin,” “friend,” or anyone claiming they can give you free items.

Be careful with trade offers – always double-check the items before accepting. Scammers may try to trick you by switching items at the last second.

Don’t click on random links – phishing links can steal your account. If a stranger sends you a suspicious site, don’t open it.

Steam support will NEVER ask for your items or password. If someone pretends to be support, report them immediately.

Use Steam Guard and 2FA – this is the best way to secure your account.

Stay safe, and don’t let scammers ruin your experience. Protect your account, protect your items, and enjoy gaming!

Never trade on 3rd party sites. Only trade on Steam.
