Epic pay for those free games to attract people to their platform, yet cannot persuade those who claim them to actually spend money on the platform.

As someone who mostly plays indie games, I'd rather pay to support the developers.

I don't know about you, but I think this makes sense.

Ofc it make sense to pay for the game full price. Less money income means less new games and less good quality.

From a marketing standpoint, Epic still needs to get people to use their store, Valve does not.

Not really. EGS is doing it to create and keep it's store userbase. Steam doesn't need to do it.

And let me tell you, nothing comes from free games, then they will do this: if free games are added to the library, it would be better if they look at your profile and increase the number in the games section, at least that would be good.
