How do you transfer your games off the Steam platform ?
As my gaming will now be decided by the whim of Visa or Mastercard I would like to transfer to a games platform that does not cave to external activist killjoy's who have never played a computer game in their lives.

You cannot as games are permanently tied to your account via licences and that is not just applicable to Steam but Ubisoft Connect etc.

Secondly only very specific adult games were removed. You can still purchase GTAV, Darktide, Vermintide 2 etc.

Simple you can't. The licence for games sold here or for that matter any platform are non-transferable. So if you want them some place else have fun re-buying them all.

However keep in mind be it Xbox, PlayStation, Epic, GOG, etc would all do the same thing if it came to losing access to Visa or Mastercard. Not that it effects any of them anyway seeing as none of them allow or sell the specific adult games that have been removed.
Repurchase on GOG.com

why does this thread seem so familiar, o wait, there was already someone with the same exact thread couple days ago, which you copied from. but anyway, the answer is NO, you cannot transfer games from steam to another platform or from one steam profile to another. most platforms is the same in that department

The licenses sold to this platform make it so that if you buy it here, you only own it here, unfortunately.

No this was from my own head, and the concern is that, what if games with violent content are also banned, which could apply to the majority of my games on Steam Total War Civilisation Wartales Bannerlord etc and some of those games have mod's with sexual content, I play vanilla.

Big "what if"

It would apply to the majority of games sold on all platforms. So it wouldn't be just a Steam issue. Also a game being banned on Steam does not remove it for your library.
