ok so i won a redeem code and i dont know where/how to use it, can someone help me with that?

Click on Games in the top menu bar.
Select Activate a Product on Steam from the drop-down menu.
In the new window, click Next and then I Agree.
Enter your product code: into the designated field.
Click Next to activate the product and add it to your Steam library.
