BLACKSCREEN
after the last update, all steam windows turned black, reinstallation does not help, I checked on imac, macbook, the same thing

Same/similar here. Mac / High Sierra / 2017 27" iMac.

Al/owed the "update" (against my better judgment). No back/forward arrows. Chose "Library", big black rectangle of NOTHING.

Followed advice pinned @ Steam for Mac. Nothing there fixed this mess. Upon reinstall then open, now I'm looking at an 8"x4" BLACK RECTANGLE.

What a flippin' mess. Thanks Steam. Grrr.

Sometimes, when I play Henry stick an it gives me the exact error but I just had to restart the game

The UI seems to be okay on Windows, but on Mac it blacks out on the UI

That is the problem I am having. UI is blacked out and some are full black screen. Im on 10.13.6

Having similar issue here. m1 mac. Since update my ingame overlay in csgo is completely broken. I cant acess web browser, maket, etc... shows up a white rectangle on my screen

same problem here
only the main page is shown, the menus are all black, i can click everything but nothing is visible, can open 'about steam' and 'preferences' but they are black too

Same issue here, was running last version of sierra OS... after steam update only main page of steam kind of works... installed high sierra 10.13.6 still broken, also uninstalled and reinstalled steam
