Steam Client loses connection?
When I logged into SteamCMD, Steam itself instantly loses connection and I have to restart the client to remain online. This is meant to happen?

SteamCMD, Steam itself instantly looses connection? What do you mean? Is it working yet? what happens when you log in on the site? It tends to drop in signal strength much like the iphone when using wifi that may be it or the signal might be wasted a bit from the splitter... Or the modem is outdated already.. Last resort just open the file checker program... Do you get an error message?

I didn't get any errors.
Just that when I entered login in SteamCMD and after the login is successful.
Steam itself says a network could not be established and Steam acts like it's running in Offline mode. I can still access the store however in Steam itself.

Perhaps the SteamCMD authenticates the exact same way Steam does and it kicks you off? Mainly because steam was designed to authenticate one user per computer and you logout, or are kicked off if another steam client is started and logged in. I mention this because SteamCMD now requires authentication either anonymous or a user account while the original HLDS software did not.

I feel like this is a terrible oversight and should be documented more clearly.
