If you could have 1 million dollars or a friend.... What would be the first thing you would buy?

Why don't you just buy a harem? That way none of your love-slaves will utterly hate and resent you.

I'd first buy a good tax attorney, to figure out how much of I can keep. Then I'd buy a good financial advisor and invest in something that is not as volatile as the stock market and won't depreciate in value (even if it stays the same, thats good enough especially in this economy). And after several years, maybe I'd buy a small hot dog stand.

Just noticed the "or a friend" part. Friends would be very nice to have. Bonus if they each had the 1 million dollars.

As if no one would choose a freind over a $1,000,000.
It's easy to say "I could buy friends with that." but I wouldn't trade ANY of my friends for a mil, and if you would, you're probably not a good enough friend.
