much better stores to be had.... although gamestop has some annoying business practices for bonus extras.

I never buy from Gamestop. Ever.
They're a corrupt business.
Feeding them money only makes them stronger.

Now that they have SteamWallet cards I've been converting all my gamestop giftcards to Steam Wallet ones. So... they're good for that

I've bought Nba 2k12 for like 10euros in gamestop, so they got def. some good low priced games. Only problem is...I can't activate this game on steam, eveno tho I was able to create an account and activate it on the official website :s

No. I traded in my 360, and they had NOTHING for PC gamers other than the Steam vouchers. Since im 17, I couldn't get the cash, so I had to get the Steam vouchers.

I don't have any problem with them, since I never trade in my games.

Gamestop is okay, but i'm always hearing stories from friends about how some gamestop creep ripped them off. i prefer to get my games online or from a cheap store like wal-mart

Stickers... sometimes MULTIPLE Stickers... ALL OVER the game artwork. I'm just suprised they didn't put it on the readable side of the disk...
All their games are used, even the new ones.. because the open the factory seal and stick in in a drawer after they're done playing them to death. Demand a factory sealed game, I assure you they'll have their own wrapping on a new (but heavily used somehow) game.
Also, preorders anyone? Its kind of a joke.
I could say more, but I at least found my 100% brand new factory sealed gamecube and games from there, while they still had them. (not that I have any reason to go back to that store now).

Gamestop isn't located where I'm at unfortunately. However, I'd continue with all my purchases through Steam regardless if we did have one. We do have a lot of local gaming shops here, but everything is typically overpriced and it's more expensive than what I've seen on here.
unfortunatly its the only gaming store in my local area since they ran out all the small busniess gaming stores out of busniess. :(
Only for gaming cards I can't get at Wally world (Walmart).
