there are certain circumstances where ic ould see this not being ridiculous, such as maybe contaminents where found in lemon shipments, or there was some sort of disease they were trying to stop from spreading, but since i don't think either of those apply in this case then you really have to wonder what the ♥♥♥♥ those police were thinking. i dunno, maybe they were bored

It does make more sense if you put it that way, but still..... they are LITTLE girls! It's just something to do when they need a little extra money and where the ♥♥♥♥ would they get a business license at their age?!? They should've thought about THAT before they told the girls to shut their stand down!

Last time I did a lemonade stand was when we had a giant garage sale. I didn't make much money other than what I got from friends that came by and bought to be nice. I do remember some girls were running one in their yard, and they probably made some money from it since they were selling it after the 4th of July fireworks and there were TONS of people walking by on their way home.

It's not nice, but it is sensible. It's one thing to say what you're saying, but what if someone gets sick? Or what happens if someone visits the stand with the intention of doing those girls a mischief? Anything could happen, and then it would be the police's fault for not taking steps to prevent it.
