Once again, games are to blame....
So apparently the Sandy Hook killer were an active player of CoD. Which obviously is important enough to make the headlines, and more likely the cause of the killings more than anything else that happened in his life.

*facepalm*

I know this is probably going to be locked and deleted but I just need to rant and let off some steam, no pun intended.
It was the same thing with the Utøya shooting in Norway, and it just pisses me off that the media pisses all over gaming and blame it for the evils in the world, while totally ignoring everything else.
The 1 million dollar raised by Athene for charity? Not even a slight mention in the newspapers.

This world is so corrupt, and the sheep are running amok.

The media are just selling their wares, I never read newspapers as they are just opinionated and scaremongering. They love stories like mass killings, they really do salivate over them, especially on the news 24 channels. If you ever get the chance, look up Newswipe, you might be able to find it on youtube, its produced by Charlie Brooker, that guy is a legend!

This really is awful

I don't really care if the media want to insult video games all the time but exploiting people dying just to insult video games is despicable

As Marc Watson, customer support at Mojang, said: "Playing violent video games is about as likely to turn me into a killer as reading Playboy would turn me into Miss December."

Well, ya know, This is what happens when we have Government Controlled Mass-Media.

Next step?

Bankrupt and Puppet all the would-be Broke businesses (Activision, Valve, and so on) Then bust down the doors of your common man too Control Him, Like Chinese and Opium and Blacks and Marijuana...

Wouldn't be the first time this happened! Thanks, Central government!

Wake up world! Some people are actually sick enough to do this without any reason.

Actaully, that's just a cover up for the fact that he was clinically insane and on massive amounts of psychotropic drugs that, directly on the warning labels, warn that some side effects have been known to cause homicidal tendencies (and suicidal).
I would think you all would know better than to immediately believe the BS spoon fed to you by the media!?!

Exactly this.

If people let video games, music, movies and so on influence them so much that's on the individual. Certain individuals just don't have self control or know how to reason between video games and real life.

That's because the current ruling generation came BEFORE games were mainstream! Once they die off and are replaced by OUR generation, this anti-game feeling felt by the media and countless parents and guardians will all go away! It's just a matter of time!

If I heard correctly, he was as loved and cared for as most of us were (or probably still are) as children. He was just a kid with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥-up mind! That's all there is to it!

Anyone who blames video games for causing violence should be chainsawed and then launched into a brick wall by trebuchet.
And I mean that in a nice way.
B^)

(I do hope you know I'm making an ironic statement)
