My new laptop has shipped. 💻
Now I can play all these new games that installs spyware in your system; without having to worry about my main PC being invaded❗ Since more and more Devs. have started adding [kernel] anti-cheat software with there games! Which in reality actually does nothing to stop hackers or cheaters!

The laptop also included some FREE games & software that I have no use for. So I'll try and see if I can sell those cd keys, and put the money toward the bill.

they just want to play in the box, they only have an interest in the laptop when it is on (and therefore warm)

Oh I know. They will sit on your laptop and over heat it. Then gnaw on the screen corner. Evil little gremlins they can be.

Thanks. I'm thinking this thing might be stronger than my desktop.

Desktops are miles ahead of laptops. Due to better cooling and space, full version of desktop GPU are way ahead of mobile downgraded laptop GPUs.

A reminder your laptop RTX 5080 is more like 4070/4080 desktop due to thermal throttling and lower power voltage.

that does not really change things, still doubtful. glad you like your laptop though
My new laptop has shipped.

If fast you should look at laptop cooling pads, it's just a surface for it to sit on that has fans blowing air up.

Yeah i dunno about those specs but laptops are always considered slower then even a few generations ahead desktops.

But it's good to have both, at least if the power goes out you have a computer.

Thanks for the reminder. I said yesterday I was going to look into something like that, but totally forgot. Because a week ago I saw videos of cooling devices made for phones. But whatever I decide to get will have to wait, until I pay some of this bill off. In the mean time, I'll continue to use this cheap laptop stand I have for airflow.

Here's the Free stuff that came with it. I won't get the keys until I register the laptop with Intel & Nvidia.

  • Borderlands 4 + DLC Pack
  • Battlefield 6: Phantom Edition
  • Woke Assassin Shadows: Deluxe Edition
  • Canvid
  • Xsplit Premium Suite
  • Vegas Pro 365

Watch them games may only be able to run on that laptop with that serial number. At least that how it was when I bought my new video card. I didn't want the game and gave my son the key and it would let him install it because it couldn't find the hardware that the game came with on his pc.
