1. Many, or even most young Americans do not want to do manual labor work. Don't care if the farms started to pay $30 an hour. Its grueling work in the hot sun for 8-12 hours a day. Anecdotally, I hear about this issue all the time from people I know who own small and large businesses in roofing, lawn care, etc. Its so hard to find good young men who want to work. I'm positive, we could extend that out into broader America. The trucking industry. Farm owners. Its very difficult to find young men who want to do these jobs.

2. As for skilled labor, we have a labor pool of young people who are unskilled and unqualified to do the very skilled jobs that we need completed in the 21st century. Its why tech companies have had to rely on the H1B visas because we have an unskilled labor pool.

And yes. Money does play a large part of this. If a company can hire immigrants to fix the roofs, and if tech companies can hire only Indian programmers on the H1B visa program. Yes, they are going to save themselves a TON of cash in the process. But, I think my statement is still valid. We have a large segment of young men who do not want to do hard labor, and we have young people in general who are unable to do work that is highly skilled.

Kids nowdays do not want to do those jobs, that's why we let immigrants in. Magas are good only at telling other poeple what to do, yet they are the first ones not doing what they say.
didnt even get to watch the video, before i seen it was that TDS propaganda channel, called "meidas touch".

you should stay away from that koolaid, its gone bad.

anywho...

he isnt begging for workers.

he is asking for "trainers", people from investments building machinery and stuff, to come in and "train our workers", to "build complex machines", as stated in the video.

either stop pushing misinformation, or watch the videos before you make a false statement.

have a nice day

I'd like to see the statistics on how many illegal (not legal) immigrants are doctors or adding to the global economy. Pretty much nobody on the right is against legal immigration, neither Trump is, people are so detached from what the right think that they just implant extremes that almost nobody thinks or does. There's a reason why a chunk of Latinos voted for Trump, it's not difficult to grasp if you talk to one who did.

Good luck getting companies invest in US manufacturing after the Hyundai fiasco.

that removed illegal immigrants, which is 100% fine.

companies arent going to stop investments because another company was doing illegal hiring and got caught.

btw, the investments havent stopped.

0/8

have a nice day

Oh they will. Yo know why? Because with the Hyundai fiasco the US has shown to be an unreliable place for business.

Companies hate uncertainty. They're willing to pay the bill. And if the country is corrupt that can be adressed in accounting. But the kind of country that makes you go through hoops, get the visas, the paperwork, just to later arrest your skilled employees like if they were a bunch of wall-juming undocumented immigrants?

That's the kind of annoyance companies don't like putting up with.

For now the Orange man is sweating blood to try get the Hyundai screwup solved. And doesn't look like Koreans are playing easy on that regard.

illegals are illegals, the company was hiring illegals and got caught.

no company or business, will ruin investments, deals, or their business, by getting mad another company got caught with illegal immigrants (illegal hiring practices).

companies follow law, or they do business else where, simple as that.

for now, trump is perfectly fine and the hyundai thing is a non issue.

0/8 for the mole hill you tried turning into a mountain.

have a nice day

I love seeing people think companies are so altruistic force.

Completely forgetting that the reason they shipped jobs offshore, hired under the table, or shipped in foreign labor was to expand the profit margin and keep it stable.

thats a blatant lie lol....

you dont even live in the US, you have zero clue what our youth will work.

factory jobs are easily one of the most looked for jobs, aside from jobs that require a degree.

bye, have a nice day

It's adorable you think it's that simple.
Migrant workers with the proper documents have been a thing for a long time, it is almost as if there has been a system in place for such occasions.

I'd make more by working retail again with the current pay rate lol. Why the hell would anyone want to work a back breaking job when service jobs pay just as much, if not more? Have farm work pay appropriately with the labor required, and I guarantee people will flock towards those jobs.
