The right need culture wars
Think about it. If they actually campaigned on what they did who would vote for them? Would you vote for:
Tariff taxes and inflationary effects from them?
Slashing healthcare and other vital social programs?
Adding another 4.5 trillion to the debt?
Tax cuts for the rich?
Increased defence spending?
Wasting revenue in renaming departments?
Renaming geographical locations not recognized by the rest of the world?
Killing tourism?
Providing other countries reasons to avoid trade to US?
Hurting arms sales with distrustful foreign policy?
Tell me when to stop. Without focusing their base on culture wars there are only negatives.

I'm a sucker for anyone who wants to rename a bunch of stuff for no good reason.

why are you posting this ♥♥♥♥ on steam? you undertand that the left are 1 wwek away from being labelled terrorists? and you wanna come here and preach your nonsense, who the hell cares, we play videogames here
Without the attendant moral outrage resultant from the culture wars, folks might actually have to learn what tariffs are, how they function, and what their entirely predictable downstream effects are going to be on both American businesses and consumers.

And we can't have that. Too much like asking people to think rather than feel. And that's elitist.
Votes don’t matter, whoever is put in power is predetermined
The culture war is pretty much the biggest thing they have because everything else is slowly fading into irrelevancy.

But, you gotta give it to them, they adapted. Which is already a lot more effective than whatever the left has been doing lately.

The left has failed to capitalize. Newsom playing silly games. A few like Sanders has been active with town halls and press conference but not gaining traction for some reason. Remember when Obama didn't nominate a Supreme Court judge because McConnell said not in election year? Then Trump appoints three in an election MONTH!

I gotta admit, I love squinting to make out all the letters crammed into Gulf of Mexico with Gulf of America underneath in brackets. Nice to see tax dollars going to rename department of defense too. I think Trump has it in for First Nations when he restored Mount Dinali back to Mount McKinley because they backed Canada in war of 1812. Plus he has to jab Obama.

I'm not sure maga will grasp tariffs. Trump uses them because they are simple. Plus you can apply them like a hammer for anything you can dream of beyond just economic measures like blackmail or revenge. Don't like what a leader said about you? 50%. Don't like that a country decided to use their own arms industry or bought from another? 100%
I'm sure other leaders proposed fair deals that would benefit both countries but Trump just isn't intelligent enough to grasp the specifics. It also gives you an insight to how he fell prey to bankruptcy 6 times.
