Hey there

Anyone here own any high end watches?

If so, whats your preferred care routine? Tools/Products/Regularity etc.

Best way to care for Saphire Glass etc?

I own a Datejust and it doesn't need cleaning since I have it locked away, and only use it once a year at best. The face is scratch proof, unless you deliberately try to scratch it. It's kinetic so it never needs a battery or winding, just the movement of your hand a good shake wakes it up. High End Jewelers will clean it for free, at least they did 15yrs ago.
I have a seiko watch kenetic watch. It is about as high end as I want to get, got it as a college college graduation gift.
I get them serviced and follow the advised "stuff to do", but other than wind or give em a shake to keep the movements....moving i dont do anything extra.

I've got a few bumps and scratches on old watches I wore to death but think a visit to a decent jeweller who can buff em up might be worth a go. (Hatton Garden etc)

A Michael Herbelin and a Tissot I have do need some attention to restore them.
