London vigil for Charlie Kirk
Thousands of Charlie Kirk supporters have attended a vigil for in central London, with speakers calling for people to wage a “war on evil”.

Mr Kirk, co-founder and chief executive of the youth right-wing organisation Turning Point USA, was shot and killed at a Utah Valley University show on Wednesday, in what authorities called a political assassination.

Following the shooting, US President Mr Trump called Mr Kirk a “martyr for truth and freedom” and blamed the rhetoric of the “radical left” for the killing.

Turning Point UK arranged a vigil at the statue of Field Marshal Montgomery in Whitehall on Friday evening, which saw hundreds of supporters attend and many waving Union flags and some wearing “Make England Great Again” (MEGA) hats.

A large portrait of Mr Kirk was held up high by the statue as Turning Point UK chief executive Jack Ross addressed the crowd, calling for left-wingers to “be careful with their rhetoric”.

We will not be intimidated, we will not be bullied out of standing up for our country, our values, and our people.

When they try to cancel us, when they try to silence us, when they murder us, they create martyrs, and Charlie is a Christian martyr.

It was a white male who killed that thing. Are those whites holding the vigil saying they are the “evil”?

Will do! Next time I see a right winger saying the LGBT are "immoral perverts" and "evil" I will very carefully call them a homophobic, transphobic bigot, wouldn't want to be careless now would we!

They don't even try. That's the remain of the USAID money to Soros-adjacent fundations, i guess. And the guy has the galls to say the other guy is, i quote, "a christian martyr".

the irony of them saying libs were the violent ones and that's who shot him at a time when no one knew who they shooter was only for it to be confirmed as one of their own per usual now it's pray for him and violence is not the answer when mere hours before that their answer to what happened was to call for war against liberals and everyone non white lmfao uwu
