And also the UN was suppose to take over and institute a world government. People were saying they had vehicles stationed in the US and ready to go, and if you look on the back of highway signs it had the metric version painted on the back ready to go. Clinton was going to sign the US over to the UN.

The US armed the vietcongs in Indochina, and watched the Frenchs broke their teeths in the region. Then they themselves were broken there.
About Indochina/Vietnam, they watched the French establish a major camp in a valley surronded by hills - and be crushed. Then, in Iraq iirc, they themselves established a camp ... in a valley surrounded by hills.

But yes, the US will not fall here and now. They will be kicking wildly for a good double decade from now on. After all, the 850+ US mlitary bases outside the US could hold th line for quite some time and protect the extraction of wealth for ... quite a bit, i reckon.
