Edit: Those limited accounts some load up on to use as throwaway alts are more annoying.

A large amount of private profiles I see are often burner alts made for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, so I do have a stigma against them. I have seen some genuinely decent people that have their profiles privated for personal reasons, but they are not as common.

As for me personally, I have seen private profiles commonly used to feel anonymous so they almost are entitled to say whatever they want without consequences, or they are an alt account. But that's not always so. It's okay IMO if they aren't abusing, but it's just more common with private profiles

Honestly, I don't trust private profiles. I feel like if you hide your profile it's likely because you're either a bot or a scammer. It's one thing to only allow your friends to see you because you don't trust the general public, that I can understand. But if it's blocked to everyone, that's a red flag for me. It might not always mean danger but I'm not going to trust a person who doesn't confidently show their stuff. To me, showing your account is you saying I have nothing to hide. If you can't do that then I don't trust you

No, people choose to set their profiles to private for various reasons and whatever it may be, are valid reasons. Unless people display their real name and include other social media platform (which they shouldn't for matters of security), public profiles aren't synonymous with credibility either, they could be just as full of sh*t as anyone else.

I don't see why anyone would hide behind a private profile. It's not like you have to show your face or display personal information. Accounts are anonymous, and when you have anonymity still needing to hide even further is weird.

I liked finding multiplayer game servers that left Creativity Mode on in the game 7 Days to Die and run around doing crazy things to peoples multiplayer game servers. Making traps in buildings, filling buildings with silly things like spike traps, filling buildings with zombie spawns you can find in creativity that can not be shot...(sleeping zombies think they were called?)

This one time I used the "SuperDigger" gun that destroys blocks and went down to bedrock level and twirled around for 30 minutes destroying all the blocks on the lower level so when the user logged onto their game it was a lagfest as the game/PC tried to calculate every block in the World falling.

You don't see people leaving Creativity Mode on anymore in multiplayer servers. Also didn't know they actually had to pay to host those. Oopsie.

Nope, I can appreciate the reasons as to why they might have it private. You can easily tell when someone is using an alt by the quality of the content that they're posting.
