Not sure what happened to it, but around my area, I'm only able to find 2L bottles at Walmart. No where else sells it.

Grocery stores only stock the store brand, Mug and A&W.

This is going to surprise you but rootbeer is only one of Barqs Sodas

They also got a red cream soda that's really good

Availability is one of the factors I use to rank a rootbeer.
I can buy Barq's at the grocery store, but I can only find Mr. Pibb(not exactly a rootbeer but close enough) at certain restaurants thereby making it almost not worth my time.

i bought some of that in an american store here in the UK, tasted like gargling with toilet duck.
