The Elder Scrolls VI
Back when the teaser came out i was optimistic

But now i have the feeling it’s going to most likely be an absolute dumpster fire. How about you?

i think it'll be good but not 15 years of development good
After Starfield I don't have any expectation left for Bethesda.
They will most likely rely on modding community to fix their mess, again.

It's a Bethesda game, so I keep my expectations low.
And I know I'll get a lot of heat for this but, Bethesda games are mid at best overall, they are considered GOTY only thanks to the dedicated work of talented modders.
Every studio has their peak. Squaresoft was in the 90's, Bethesda was in the 00's. It's all downhill for Fallout and Elder Scrolls series, unfortunately.

what made you change your mind?
Let's stop making new games until capitalism will revert to level from 1990s.
It will be like every other Bethesda game. Hours of wandering around aimlessly, 200 one-dimensional characters voiced by the same 3 actors, combat mechanics that feel like they are from 2005 and so many broken scripts and bugs it's hard to tell if the guy running into the wall is supposed to be part of the story or is just a random NPC that got lost.
I just don’t know if they handle all things that make TES great well like side quests and stories to grind like back then as competitors have expanded too much in Rpg gerne so not sure if they can pull off something u ique
You talking about the 2005 Elder Scrolls IV? I remember playing that on the Xbox 360. Even though it was very janky I still enjoyed it. Until I didn't know how to level up properly and the enemies became too strong for me because enemies scale with your level.
morrowind was excelend 8.7/10 (room for improvement but 8/10 is ♥♥♥ laude.. (9/10 is summa ♥♥♥ laude)

than came the dumbing down, and causualisation... and the hated multiplatform that made it have to cut so many features

oblivion was 5.5/10 (6/10 and above is pass 5/10 is fail 5.5 sometimes is rounded to 6.0/10 but basicly oblivion was either a failing grade or the lowest possible passing grade possible.
it was bad.

skyrim dropped that to a 4/10 it dumbed down and causualised even more... making it a clear FAIL the lowering of the bar was not as much as between morrowind and oblivion..but it did made the bad even worse..

I have little hope that this trend will be reversed and that TES 6 will suddenly be a proper morrowind succesor and not dumbed down and causualised like the rest of that trash.. I fully expect to drop it even lower..

sure if you measure succees by number of sales / money made this trajectory works..
there are more casuals.. so more customers that want junkfood than people who desire refined dining..
but tes used to be this very refined thing for a special sort of geek.. a niche of a niche.. and when your 5 star michelain star restaurant turns into a fastfoodjoint.. it may make more money.. it aint serving the food I desire anymore..

Well although I agree the scope of the games is far bigger since Morrowind came out so it has to sell far more copies and let's be honest here that's not where the market is atm and nowadays MS is pulling the strings.
I think it will be like Skyrim.
Depends if it releases during, or after, the era of angry darkness
I lost interest when it became 'must be online' to play and the 'lets dump the ps3 now' move.

Hope its amazing, or even if its Skyrim / Oblivion addons I'd be happy.
Not looking forward to all the glitches and failures and compatibility issues and bloated so much need a new system to play scenario.
like cyberpunk, but with magic instead of chrome. instead of johnny silverhand you will play with Sheogorath stuck inside your head AND HE WONT SHUT UP FOR NEVER EVER! :D
