How depressing really is the Internet?
Just look at the Steam forums. It's so devoid of content. There's only a thread and forum list, a search engine, and the ability to look at your post history. It feels like a communal prison cell.

The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. For real.

FACT.

Also, the advent of mass-agriculture also caused a BIG rise in problems.
its not. its very sugoi! i love teh interwebz!
the internet used to be ridiculously fun when it was new. the chat rooms XD
I suppose this could be calculated by looking at the frequency of certain common internet searches; autumn is most likely the most depressive period.

reject modernity, return to caveman.
I first logged on to "the intarnetz" in 1994.

I was 12.

And it felt like the world had changed.

Now, there's such a constant sewer-stream of "content" that finding something worthwhile is basically an exercise in picking peanuts out of poop.

Less was more, and the more that is dropped on us, the less sticks.

That's what's depressing.

And no one saved you a seat so you just stand in the back and drown out the chatter with another beer. (the one you brought).
