the evil dead series in general is one of my favourite of all time. evil dead 1 and 2 and AOD are all somewhere in my top 20 films of all time. i also loved the evil dead remake, rise of the evil dead, and the ash vs the evil dead tv show.

bruce campbell is just amazing in everything he does. if you loved him in the evil dead series i also recommend him in these films:

- bubba ho-tep
- my name is bruce
- black friday

did the Ash vs the evil dead get better as the series progressed?

the first ep or so just didny quiite click for me.

not really, no. if i am being honest the series is a lot of fun but overall pretty much everyone BUT bruce campbell gives pretty middling performances and is forgettable. its mostly just for hardcore bruce/evil dead fans. and the pacing is bad, it could have trimmed a few episodes of filler.

I liked the series but I didn't finish it.

With True Blood I HAD to watch it all, but the Ash vs Evil Dead I was not as passionate about.
