Gattica, but it might not be considered a hidden gem at this point. Swordfish was OK, but it is a show you really only want to see once or twice.

heres a phenomenal movie.... while youre watching it and trying to figure it out or waiting to see what happens. by the end you might feel like why did i waste an hour and a half watching this, and youll nbever watch it again

but its an enjoy the ride the first time you watch itr kinda deal.

Guess it would depend on how knowledgeable you are what you might consider as hidden.
I might say some probably less well known ones I've really liked; Colours Of Evil Red, Redbelt, 13 Asassins, Bronson, The Debt Collector, Harsh Times, La Femme Nikita, Deadman, Valhalla Rising, Brawl on Cellblock 99.
Or gems like American Assassin, Anna, Wind River, Michael Clayton, Ghost Writer.
But there's a ton of movies.
