Oppenheimer is an overrated movie?
Agree or not?

Reasons:

- He is a communist
- Einstein looked too fake, real would have been better

So, i quit it after half an hour despite the positives it felt like acting lacked depth as well.

It was alright. But I still haven't seen the Barbie movie. So I may be missing some context.
Its a very good movie.
It felt boring. REALLY boring. The editing was nausea inducing. Cut like an action movie. The constant jump between several plots and timelines didn't help either. I found Inception much easier to follow. Way too long, could have used more time in the editing room.

The Peaky Blinders guy (whatever his name is) didn't feel at his peak in this movie. Nobody in the movie was great.

Forgettable below average movie. It was just a meme for Barbenheimer.

Haven't seen it yet but I don't expect much from the same timeline that hyped up the Barbie movie and that was okay at best.
Yeah, it was too long and boring I thought
Have not watched it...Just seemed too political for me...And the lead is not my favorite actor...
it doesn't show he secret meetings at The Grove and their choice of where to drop the bombs.

Try watching Lawrence of Arabia if you think Oppenheimer is long.
It was a decent movie. The “nuke” sucked ass though. It was just a gasoline explosion with bright lights added.

The rest of the effects in the movie were pretty good though. Subtle but well done.
never saw it, not my type of film

Haven't seen it, probably never will. I'd rather watch a movie where the bomb is dropped from a Japanese perspective. I heard there was this guy who was in the blast in Hiroshima and then tried to drive home to warn his family who lived in Nagasaki and he somehow survived both blasts. Not sure if it's true or not, but I heard it on a podcast and I feel it would make a great movie.
