Royal Air Force pilot shortage after DEI programs fails
RAF to use Indian instructors amid pilot shortage. The RAF has been facing a pilot shortage since a diversity hiring scheme backfired, with documents earlier this year revealing it needed a “higher number of pilots in training”.

Another DEI scheme backfired.

More people will apply once it is clear they are not discriminated against. In the end if it gets to bad they will lower standards until the shortfall is gone, but pilots are a desired job, so I wouldn't expect it to be a long term shortage.
*or*

A massive over simplification?
So which are they short of; pilots or instructors?
I thought Trump was gonna bring jobs back to America; why's he giving these jobs to India?

Royals.
They won't train me to fly a fighter jet covered in missiles just because I'm schizophrenic. They are too picky.

You do know that Trump has nothing to do with the Royal Air Force don't you?

I read the Telegraph article on this and I'm extremely confused by how the Ministry of Defence was completely contradicting this claim:

A Ministry of Defence spokesperson said: “The RAF currently has sufficient numbers of pilots and aircrew available for the front line.

“The plan to introduce Indian Air Force Instructors is not related to any previous issues within the UK flying training system but rather about improving international relations.”

Then I realized only The Express is making this claim, which means you read The Express and immediately took it as fact.
because DEI enables the hard of thinking to rage about something.

gotta keep em angry and distracted.
