Let's talk about rice.
Do you think it's nice?

What is your favorite?

Do you own a rice cooker?

My favorite is Chicken Broccoli. (Knorr)

Don't you like to add it with chicken or beef? It' most certainly a side dish.
Brown rice is a pain in the ass to cook, but there eventually comes a time in life when you start having to care about insoluble fiber.

Manoomin is better.

For sushi rice, I put it in the instant pot, pressure cook it with a square of kombu for 5 minutes, then shut off the power and leave it pressurized for another 10 minutes before depressurizing it and doing the whole fan thing while mixing in the rice vinegar and preparing the spam and nori sheets.

Never had sushi before. Do you put soy sauce or wasabi with it?

I love spanish rice for some reason and its pretty easy to make. Tomatoe sauce, jalepenos, onions, garlic and rice go together really well.

I need to eat more brown rice and wild rice though. I also keep hearing about black rice but Ive never actually seen it anywhere.

Black rice, also known as purple rice or forbidden rice, is a type of rice with a high antioxidant content that gives it a deep black or purple color. It has a mild, nutty flavor and a chewy texture. Historically, it was so prized in ancient China that it was reserved for royalty, which is how it got the name "forbidden rice".
To make sushi you cook the rice, spread it thinly on seaweed sheet, finely slice carrot and lay it in a line on end of sheet. You can add meat like tuna, even finely shredded cooked chicken breast. Then roll the sheet starting at the line.

I think dash of vinegar or other spices on the rice

Orange Chicken Tempura with rice and broccoli is good. :ImoriBlep:
Basmati or jasmine, the "Indian" way I was taught: two water to one rice, stovetop, lid on, when it bubbles turn off the heat and let it steam. Wash beforehand if it's important for you to do so.

And then, like the cultural bastard I am, I take the leftovers and fry it up with garlic and spam the next day

Edit: my wife does it the finger depth way and I'm like lol lmao
