Steam should make it against the rules to post a topic with nothing but a Youtube link in the body.
It's spam.

Its all context anyway.
You don't have to play the video, but at least read the title, there might be a point to it.

Most of them are just "Yeah he's right" or "Wow, look at this" with no substance at all. You have no idea what the TC is talking about unless you click the video.
I'm indifferent, though I do think people like someone else making a point for them instead of putting things in their own words. That's why people will barely say anything, and then just have a link or two in a thread, or they will make AI type of their opinion for them.

Read the title and the title is something like

"Your GAME is WOKE and GAY! Sources are STUPID! Get up to 50% Off Computer Repairs at-"

Why do they even post at all, then? They're not the ones actually having the discussion, the video or AI or whatever is doing it for them. It's pointless.

To spread a message to those who haven't seen it and play a part in influencing people's opinions

Does anybody ever click on the links posted here?

I'm of the opinion that a mere Youtube link can be a point of discussion. :FFellipsis:
It's actually advertising.

It's spam.

Steam should also make it against the rules to post a topic from an OT member.

That's the only thing I can think of.

agreed
Agree, i guess
Yes, thats why i try always to add the title to the posted link, so people know what is posted and can decide themselves if they want to see it.
You should also get an instant ban if your post is just repeating the title of the thread.
