Help! Did my friend get radicalized by Trump?
Instead of going to a church to pray, he goes to the Trump Tower to pray.

He prays 5 times a day towards the White House.

For Trump's birthday month of June he'll fast everyday from 7am to 7pm.

He wants to make a yearly pilgrimage to Washington and wail in front of the White House fence.

He's holding underground Trumpism study group to share the teachings of Trump.

He is busy evangelizing to the Dems, liberals and BLM/Gaza protestors to get them to convert to Trumpism.

Instead of saying Amen he says MAGA.

Instead of singing hallelujah he sings the US national anthem.

He probably told you he's going to Trump Tower to pray. But that's not why he's going there. Ask him what he thinks about LGBT rights.

And we did so much, we really did everything. They told me, they said nobody has ever done this before. They said we've had people in boats and swimming underneath but nobody ever walked on top of the water before and I said hey, you never met a guy like me before, that's for sure. They are amazing people and let me tell you they know about saviours and the son of man. They said it's unbelievable we had so many sons before but we never had the son of man it's really tremendous. People asked me in the past they said are you the king of the jews and I said well really you say I am the king it's not for me to decide.

The signs you point to in this post about your friend are quite subtle. If you want my opinion on it, i don't think your friend has been radicalized. He seems to be functioning rather normally, aside from a few quirks that you describe in this post. These subtle movements could always be the first steps to radicalization though, so do indeed be careful with your approach on this, and be sure to monitor his behavior throughout the following months.
