So the economic 'benefits' went to people like Jeff Bezos and not to either the native-born or immigrant workers. Communists were pretty big on borders. At least in part to stop people from leaving their authoritarian ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but I also don't recall Marx talking a lot about how cheap immigrant labor was necessary to protect the proletariat.
