Write a poem
Hey, you find yourself back in grade school. Mrs.K wants you to write a poem for homework; about anything or everything, "as long as you try your best" she says.

Simple or sophisticated. Fun or intense. Silly or deep. Anything goes. Just don't forget to be creative. Extra credit to those who write more than one poem. :spazwinky:

Bubbled wallpaper, what a mess.
Washer dryer knackered, what a mess.
Siamese twins seperated, one leg less.

Garnished with parsley,
Aromatic table and room,
Browned to perfection,
Eat it all very soon.
Nimble I am no more.

Fezzes are red

And so are you

>;3 hehehehe read this:

They call me a monster, but they haven't seen how monstrous I can be.
They call me evil, when I wage a vendetta against a force truly evil.
I was born from a womb of darkness, but in the end: I will bring the light this world deserves.
My weapons are the fire and darkness. My tools are pain, surprise and fear.
Death is at my back, it will always be my constant companion.
My name is meaningless for my actions will make me known throughout the world.
I haunt, I kill, I destroy.

If a poem could cost a dime
I will spend my ink and spend my time
Making the perfect rhyme

More than a million people may read it
Even if I have to sell it on credit
I will be the businesswoman with wit
Sit down! Think about it!

A penny for the perfect sentence
A penny for a poem glaring with essence
A penny for writing about the present and past tense
A penny for describing a situation that is intense
A penny if I write truthfully without pretence
As I turn away from crime
Making the perfect rhyme

If a poem could cost a pound
I will turn my life around
As I compose the perfect poetic sound
That rhymes against any background

My words will be sublime
Not just the perfect rhyme
They will be read both at teatime and during bedtime
My sentences will mature in their prime with time
As I turn away from crime
Making the perfect rhyme

There once was a man from Nantucket
I was going to write a poem but you know what?
Forget it
I watch as time flows.
I watch as people grow.
They awaken to new realities,
They awaken to new possibilities.
I watch as they no longer need me,
I watch as they no longer need hope.
Awakened, they have finally found hope.
Awakened, they have finally found peace
Halo!!

It’s the third-act twist,
A creeping horror.
It’s the boogeyman,
That lurks in dark Forerunner corners.
It’ an ancient shame,
A forgotten sin.
In some ways it’s the glue that holds the Halo universe from falling apart.
Upon they march, to conquer anew,
That the clouds were shroud to darken due.
Into pitted battle where no man would face,
That leave the heroes, forgotten, without a trace.
On they march, never to weep,
But instead they travel beyond the deep.
To siege of thrones and collect the gold,
Of ancient ways that passed to old.
.... okay im getting tired of dis poems stuff.. be back later

Making stand that heed at last,
That listen and heard the soothing cast.
Upon your height, your glorious death,
Shall ascend above of no lesser breath.
Into gaze your eyes were filled,
Always so cold, always so lingered.
The last one shall breach through life on bent,
To seek and destroy,
the torrent that lent. --credits to Edric Limoanco. love his poems! <3

Pounding headache like knocker on door.
Searing pain like flesh in fire.
Keeps away the sleep I desire.
