Origin Winter sales sucks
I was waiting for Battlefield 4 Premium Edition for winter sale for a good price and look. No ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sale on recent game. They put 50% off on sports game and some random amount of deals on older games. What is wrong with them? Gezz, look at retail for Battlefield 4 is cost less than Origin. I am so dissapointing.

Your not wrong... EA just does not like sales or if they do have a sale, they tend to price there games like 10%-20% off, which in my book is no good for anyone.

I don't have any problems with EA or Origin but I do find they are starting to price their PC games higher and higher these days. If im not happy with their prices, I just won't buy from them. I just refuse to buy any PC game over £35, simple as that.
ALL of my origin games were purchased from my local games store for 50% or less what they charge for them in Origin store. Origin are Rip-offs

EA said themselves, that sales destroy and devalue the gaming market.

Thats the problem with Origin; Sports games. Thats always been EAs game motto.

Then they are wrong. Sales actually increase sales and therefore cash going to the companies as most people, believe it or not, don't like spending ridiculous amounts on something that's just a past time or form of entertainment so they wait until sales or the prices naturally go down to buy the games. Therefore, high prices harm the industry more because (in the case of retail games) by the time the price naturally goes down, the money stops actually going to the developers and starts only going to the shops.

People tend to buy a new game within the first month or two, after that sales of the game drop to maybe a fw hundered units per units per week and it just goes less and less. Sales tend to bring in people who would never of bought the game in the first place.

I have to agree that their holiday sales suck, but they did have Battle FIeld 4 on sale for half off less than a month ago.
