Anyone else getting burned out on AAA games?
I been playing a lot of AAA games recently, especially this year, and finished Dying Light Beast, and now been trying to play Outer Worlds 2.. But i been feeling like i have been pushing myself to play it.. or any other AAA game.. I had more urge to play indie games like Post Trauma, or Hollow Knight i didnt finish.. Or some old game like Chrono Trigger i never played. Idk, i just dont feel like doing a another 80hr run in some AAA game. Which is kinda bad since i got a 5080 PC not long ago.. For games like this. lol Maybe its just a short break i need though, who knows.

i dont really play them, only rare instances like new resident evils and silent hills. go play all those indie horror games i put in your thread! the majority of them are amazing, and even the pish ones are still fun.

Play indie games like Cyberpunk 2077. It'll refresh your joy of gaming.

I don't really make the distinction between all the A's.

and really, i feel like the distinction between AAA and indie has blurred so much now. if an "indie" game can be as unbelievable in quality as hollow knight and silksong, but "AAA" can be some of the worst garbage you have ever played, i feel like those titles mean less.

indie games used to be smaller, cheaper, shorter. and many still are, but many are also as high in quality if not more so than AAA titles.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is the only AAA I have played in a long time where I was having ... fun?

It's like a Pixar movie. I really should get back to it.
Not gonna lie but Battlefield 6 is actually a pretty decent game. Is it perfect? No. But it’s a pretty decent Battlefield since Battlefield 1.
Just play what's actually fun for you.
Majority of my steam play time has been on non-AAA games like
