Long running series
I have been thinking that why some long running series can't die and why it has to keep running forever in order to create jobs for others? Why creators have the responsibilities caring for other's lives in this case - their employes.
If i was in their shoes and have gotten all the money i want, then i will just quit and don't care anymore

It has more to do with sponsors and the writers egos.
There is also more writers usually than just one or two in creating TV Shows.
Same with Directors on TV Shows, Sopranos and Game of Thrones is a good example of this.
Daytime soap operas are a good example of long-running series. Guiding Light ran for 72 years, and General Hospital is still running since 1963.

These series are low-cost, but manage to create multi-generational connections between characters and the audience. Many people enjoy these shows because it brings them some sense of enjoyment and peace in their lives.
Call anything Final Fantasy, throw in some pretty boys, add a chocobo, and people will go "yes, we are video games now".

Originality doesn't matter when you regurgitate the same algorithmic and format driven tropes over and over, denying freshness or sincerity.

It's why the fortnite guys are off making their own marvel movies.
Corporations are in fact not people.
