Unless your disabled (which is notoriously hard to prove), you have to have a job or be actively looking for one. Seems like years of applying to jobs would land you one.
The real travesty that corporations cant bother to pay people a living wage and using taxpayers to subsidize it. But no one gives a ♥♥♥♥ about that because they dont want to really think about it.
The rich can live comfortably off stealing money from the taxpayer, but poor people are expected to get three part time jobs and destroy their body for minimum wage.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wild. And people DEFEND IT!

sounds like plenty of jobs but everyone expects 6 figure white collar office job
adjust your self to market
What do you think them should deserve.
You'll only rile the capitalism apologists up by posting here
The solutions are glaringly obvious, but they're not as profitable as the current, overtly corrupt system, and that's why they haven't been implemented
The solution is obviously shifting to a resource based economy, and or implementing a universal basic income
If there's not enough labour for people wanting to be labourers, then supports for those people need to be put in place and liveable
If the labour available isn't liveable, then there needs to be a restructure and redistribution of wealth in regards to classism
These solutions are simple, but because we live in a dystopian corporatocracy, they won't be implemented. There needs to be disruption in the form of either violent revolution -- as history shows -- civil war, or world war. There's no other meaningful mechanisms for long-term change
ubi is only charming idea to people who feel entitled to resources for simply existing. that is not how real world works. if you want things you must work for it.
socialist fantasies immediately implode when they run out of other peoples money.
capitalism meanwhile has created the wealthiest civilizations in history.
This is just wrong
Your reasoning is flawed and self-defeating. Your argument against UBI can't be "So people want more than they have" when the same argument is used in support of a UBI
If someone wants more than what they have while on a UBI, guess what they'll do? They'll look for a job
And again, let's make sure we're posing this correctly: There's not enough jobs for people. That's the problem which we're facing. You seem incapable of understanding this for some reason
Every study shows that you're wrong, but that's never stopped Trump supporters before

If you bothered to read, you'd see that I included peer reviewed papers. You're simply trying to dismiss something which clashes with your preexisting worldview out of laziness
