There are way too many activists in off topic and not enough gamers.
I remember years ago off topic would be a place to discuss gaming in general without it being tailored to one game. Now it's nothing but democrat this and republican that . At this point you might as well rename " Off Topic " to " Left Wing vs Right Wing " .

100% agree, these subforums went down hill through the years.

they should have never removed the "no politics, religion and prone to huge arguments" rule.

have a nice day

I am being a Hasbro Activist.

There's important politics to discuss, like which toy franchise will kick the crap out of the other; Star Wars or Transformers.

Seems Unicron vs DS1 can be a close match-up, according to Grok.

That question answers itself . If someone says " There are a lot of people who commit crimes " and you have to ask : " Am I one of them ? " It speaks for itself. People who don't do something don't have to ask if it's them.
i just like talking about meat trees and cats

welp. F

I feel like everything about me speaks for itself but if you think I'm one of said people, oh well. It was also kind of asked in jest

Text book narcissism . You asked a question which made no sense to ask given the situation . Let me rephrase it .... If i said " man... there was a lot of pedophiles that just got hit in a sting operation by the fbi " then you randomly ask if you're one of them ???? That's odd and speaks for itself .

All I'm saying is in that situation i wouldn't be asking if i was one of them .

Ah, but the moderators at the time wanted a place on the largest video game digital distributor platform in the world where they could spread their ideology.

And the pendulum does swing.
Idk why they got rid of the rule of no political and no religious threads. Kinda of a silly rule change if you ask me.

Mostly radical left democrats. I'm just here to question and invalidate their radical left, socialist agenda.

The removal of the no politics/religion rule opened the flood gates to troll farms who do nothing but farm steam points via controversial political drivel to resell for pennies on a third party market.
If there was an US-Politics subforum, the problem would be solved.

The spam isn't coming from Croatian Politics or French Politics...

A surprising amount is from Canadians.

And some of them identify as French.

(But, yes, I've advocated for a politics specific sub-forum for a while now.)

Funnily enough a huge portion of the politic spam accounts from both sides...don't even reside in the US.

One dude legit has like 7 accounts now, and has admitted to living in Cambodia on one by accident.
