Nobel Peace Prize laureate calls for war
Maria Corina Machado, who received the Nobel Peace Prize this year, calls on the United States to attack Venezuela and remove Nicolas Maduro from office.

Guys, just contemplate this sentence for a moment - Nobel Peace Prize laureate calls for war

You cannot get a better oxymoron. I guess the ancient Latin phrase
"Si vis pacem, para bellum"
is her life motto.

Any thoughts, guys?

Third party who has no influence over US policy tells US what to do... this effort is futile. We will 'go in' as needed and if needed, determined by US policy. Thanks for playing.

The US wants Venezuela's oil and resources. So I guess they will do something there.
The USA is the main source of evil on this planet right now. They want to control the world, and other nations must bend the knee.

But for some reason, Americans can't find oil in Russia. I wonder why?:steamhappy:
Most of Venezuela's oil barrels are exported to China.
We stole Venezuela's Gold. We already spent it and can't give it back.

USA has to install a puppet leader now. Bombing the "drug boats" is a lie because none of those boats even have the range to even reach the United States from Venezuela.

Imagine using RT as a source ahahahaha
Another human prince thinks it would be really cool to march off more peasants to their deaths like the earth doesn't have enough calcium as it does.
I don't think anyone will pay this any mind; pronounced cases of bipolarity have already become the new norm.

It went to good use in the Oval Office and ballroom. Funny to see such a great show of opulence while the debt spirals out of control.
she called netanyahu and celebrated israel bombing palestine, now calling for the us to bomb venezuela
perfect peace prize winner

wrong, they want to be rid of the drug gangs and many south american regions, are also doing their part currently as well, with one example being a huge drug gang raid in RIO a few days ago.

that said, not surprising about the OP, obama got a nobel peace prize for a "peace speech", not the actual "action" of peace and went on to continue wars and drop tons of bombs.

they give out the nobel peace prize, like its a "participation trophy".

Why not all of the above? Deposing a hostile dictator, taking out drug cartels, and possibly installing a puppet that will grant the USA access to oil.

I don't really care what happens to Venezuela. Whatever the USA decides to do has nothing to do with me.

Comments like this are why Steam's OT forum is quickly becoming my favourite place to hang out between games.
South America has constantly endured American corporate greed. The US taxpayer pays to subsidize US fruit, British Petroleum, and mining operations in the form of military espionage, outright murder and war for regime change. The US taxpayer receives none of the benefits. The entire budget is given to the military to protect trans-national corporations that could give a damn about the United States and its people.

I can see it as such a statement after reading this that was made half a month ago, but I wouldn't say it was such a thing for sure. Or rather, based on the below quote, which is also expanded upon futher down:
Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado, who was awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize last week, has called for greater US support to stop what she described as a “war” on her country by President Nicolás Maduro.
[…]
Asked later if she was directly calling for US military intervention in her country, the opposition leader did not directly answer but said she wanted to see the influence of Russia, China, Cuba and Iran curtailed and claimed that Venezuela is currently a “safe haven” for terrorist organizations.

I couldn't use Russia Today for obvious reasons in the first link that you listed. And the other link seems to be about something else?
