My Halloween didn't exactly play out as expected, but it was still pretty nice. We took treat bags to the kids who work at our nearby coffee shop. We hadn't been by in several months, and when one of the girls realized we were there, she was like, "Oh my God!" and ran out to say hi. She looked ready to cry, and it made me feel pretty emotional, too. I promised her we'd be back real soon. It made my entire day.
