Looking for ideas for my Etsy
I'm trying to come up with something that's underrated that I can make since I'm a tailor. Nothing extravagant. Nothing extreme. Something that would be easy for me to make since I have the sewing skills. I'm just trying to come up with some ideas and to make some money and I really could use some help. I'm just trying to figure out. I'm trying not to advertise because that's against the rules but I could use some help with trying to understand people in general. My stuff doesn't exactly sell so I'm thinking if I talk to a couple people around the internet maybe they can give me some ideas of things I can try to make.

Do y'all have any ideas?

Your what?

I'm not a tailor, but two things that spring to mind, and are made in my local area. Garment alterations, personalised items, this could be hats, bags, etc.

a shop, for people crafting. They want to know what people would buy in the crafting market for their sewing / clothing things
My ideas are probably terrible but in the hopes it may be helpful aprons for cooking and crafting.

Some modern dresses with pockets. Many dresses on Etsy are too much grandma style and not really modern, or they don't have pockets (for phone, keys etc.)

Uncommon but cool would be embroidered tendon boots for horses, or cool looking horse blankets. Most ones I have are rather plain and boring.

This is actually on the list of things I really want to make someday.

I've altered pants before and I know how to do invisible stitches now. Not an easy task but as long as it's something that just came undone I can usually do it.

I make dice bags and stuff all the time and I have 40 of them I can't get rid of.

You know the funny thing is is I actually do have a pattern I created from another one and I've never made it. I really got to do this one day. I keep forgetting about it

Try a personal touch, add a name, a unique design, we're coming up to Christmas, people buy all sorts of junk (no offence intended) at Christmas, use it once and then it's never touched again.

Add a theme to them, you have used dice so look at dice specific games, casino, etc.

Pull a drawstring and it folds itself

Can be worn backwards for additional conditions as better placement for colder environments, splatter guard fabric, concepts not included

Scarf pocket lined behind in neck line through both sleeves

Reversible clothing including leather jackets and pants

Will expect gratuity in the form of pennies dropped out of pockets to line the corner air gaps so string and pins don't get lost.

I make drawstring bags. I know what type you're talking about. You mean the ones that like everyone in middle school had for a while. I've made a couple of them. They're pretty cool.

Scarf pocket line behind a neck?

Leather jackets whoa! That's a little too extreme for me. I can't do that yet

I definitely want to get an embroiderer when I get the money. So that's definitely something on my list of stuff I want to do. There's one at Walmart for like $250 I would love to get

You could add some simple wording like Viva Las Vegas! next to the dice, people might not have been there, but can see the casino reference in the wording.

You could try the funny route with wording like, Life's a lemon, roll with it!

The only thing stopping you is your imagination.

A flap in a way think belt loops if it has to be less fabric intensive. Not around neck more as in a way where fire/construction gear now has pockets that can take mesh padding knees shins and so forth in places yet thats not this

There has always been the pocket watch pocket and now a smart pocket for smart tech in the back pocket, Pockets in general. Everything has bT now and wires and change and so forth don't seem to need them so the niche that cares for placement of a hidden gem persay might be relevant. Sony made its heyday fixing the shirt pocket larger so its portable radio sold. Now it is more the reverse of keeping things hidden and easy to use as simple as a creditcard for even door use.

Or

Complete cleanup and no pockets at all just for looks and street clothes for incase get into a tumble don't end slipping a finger between beltloops or crevice unpleasantness. This isn't gonna be explained just a someone needing less evidence their heading somewhere where nothing can be brought in or taken out of.

Popular? Is no strings attached.
Painted on effects that wash out. Might as well offer bandaids with tattoos stitched in.
Talking mimicry of combat clothing then yes its most nice to be conspicuous and subtle at the same time. Wanna ruffle feathers go learn parachute threading.
